SECRT Workshop Tech's latest tool, mmchealth, is now released.
(March 23 2025 Build Beta 2 Blog): This was alot of work... BUT ITS FINALLY HERE FOLKTALE STARLIGHT BETA 2 with alot more features that builds off of Beta 1. With the Godot 4.6 core instead of 4.5 it now has the new UI improvements and more all the godot improvements are listed here https://godotengine.org/releases/4.6/ it lists the modern UI the upgrade on the godot physics with the jolt engine new water refections and so much more! Now the impovements on the Starlight side. Starlight Smart Preformance. SSP is where it checks your computers specs at engine startup and adjust the editor accourdingly to your specs so if it needs to turn graphics or resoulotion down to help with gpu or cpu preformance it also helps with overheating peoblems and to decrease heavy load on cpu to make the starlight engine less resource heavy to run on more devices this even includes the editor while your in game this feature is experimental however this is one big step into making The Engine and whatevers exported on the engine avalible everywhere natively. Beta 2 also adds new Editor binaries that make it native to alot of devices and distrobutions.. WE FINALLY HAVE A MAC PORT it finally worked out with the compilation of The mac version of the editor with great timing to. We ALSO included alot of linux native distribution ports such as an Appimage, a flatpak, a debian native package, a ubuntu native package, alpine support and its native package. A redhat native package improvements on the android versions of the starlight editor... (still without changing the logo... oops) oh yea forgot to include that theres also a mac installer with that.. also added native DirectX support for Windows.. Speaking of Windows i have improved the installer aswell and made it include the new Directx DLLS. i have improved the Starlight Editor on web so now it should be smoother and it should work on our server you just have to reload when loading it for the first time.. if you have any questions or want to support the beta email be at folktale@secrtworkshop.org
